Sustainability is really important to us at Nichares as we want to make sure we’re kind to people and the planet. We’re ensuring we’re doing more than out bit to ensure your visit to the salon doesn’t have a negative impact on the planet.
Here are some small things we do, that make a big difference:
Vish Colour Management
We work with the Vish software to measure and store your colour formulas down to a tenth of a gram, eliminating any margin for error - and any product waste!
Eco Heads
Not only do they reduce water usage by a whopping 65% but they also increase water pressure for an even more relaxing experience.
Eco Dryers
Made with recycled plastic and new innovative technology not only do they reduce drying time and therefore energy usage but they also help us give you the perfectly smooth blow dry too!
Evo Colour, Products & Packaging
Free from all nasties including ammonia EVO colour has been formulated with the planet in mind. Using sustainable ingredients that don’t compromise when it comes to results is our number one choice for loving them!
EVO currently use green pe and are transitioning to pcr (post consumer recycled) plastic so that we’re producing less virgin plastic. because their packaging is mostly square, they’re able to fit more bottles into shipping boxes which means less wastage.
Refill Station
This is a great way to ensure we are reducing plastic waste for us and our clients. Simply bring back your favourite EVO shampoo and conditioner bottles to be refilled and save 10%! Kind to the planet and to your wallet.
LED Lighting
All of our lighting has the latest energy efficient LED bulbs possible. This means we can maintain great brightness throughout the salon whilst reducing our energy usage. You may also notice that in quieter area’s of the salon including the bathroom and sensor activated. This means they are only on when needed to reduce energy waste.
